Talent Acquisition Specialist

Work Location: Manyata Tech Park, Bangalore

Shift timings: 12 pm to 9 pm (Work from Office)

Purpose of Job:

You will work very closely with Hiring Managers & Business Leaders to drive the TA agenda across the organization and would be responsible to drive and execute hiring plans. You will drive the Tech hiring strategy (IT Infrastructure/Cyber Security/Cloud/Digital/ERP) for the organization including senior level recruitment of practice and vertical heads. Execute the end-to-end talent acquisition activities.

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate with respective functional heads/hiring managers to define position requirements, job specifications, interview processes and plan hiring in accordance to the priorities set by the management.
  • Implement creative sourcing strategies to source best in class talent.
  • Harness creative marketing/branding strategies and campaigns to attract top talent from the industry.
  • Maximize ROI on recruitment costs and increase recruitment efficiencies.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the TA head on the delivery of BlackBox's talent hiring projects and initiatives including but not limited to Employee Referral program, Diversity and Inclusion, candidate experience, and sourcing channel training.
  • End to end design, implementation, management, and review of both global and regional attraction programs across.
  • This role will involve working very closely with hiring managers across geographies in understanding hiring needs and executing the recruitment process.
  • Couple business acumen and insight with market data and knowledge of talent pools to develop recruiting plans and strategies to meet not only the current business need, but support the long term talent requirements of BlackBox..
  • Leverage talent expertise, understanding of talent acquisition plans, business model, operations, competitive position and business group products to identify the top business priorities and make recommendations and influence internal stakeholders regarding talent acquisition.
  • Execute to the talent acquisition plan.
  • Create a WOW user experience for candidates through direct and meaningful engagement throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Conduct Lead Generation, Research and Sourcing of qualified candidates to meet future needs and a bolstered talent pipeline.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Considerable experience with myriad sourcing strategies including portals, ads, consultants, social networking, conferences, headhunting etc
  • You must be able to prioritize and achieve hiring goal against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize to meet SLAs.
  • Demonstrable creativity with respect to sourcing candidates.
  • Experience in sourcing, pitching and recruiting for mid management and senior management positions.
  • Well versed with technology and associated jargons. Ability to discuss technology to a limited extent as required by the profile.
  • Ability to grasp and deliver an excellent pitch to potential candidates.
  • Keen sense of searching for and identifying exceptionally talented candidates.
  • Experience with using social media, gig sites, forums, blogs etc to help source talent
  • Experience in defining and implementing online marketing campaigns through social media, search marketing etc.
  • Process oriented: Demonstrable commitment to defining, documenting and following processes and workflows
  • Experience in managing and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Experience in working on a recruitment management system, preferably Oracle
  • Experience in managing and reporting data through efficient metrics and analytics.
  • Experience of having worked in a Corporate TA role is preferred

Education / Experience Requirements

  • At least 5-8 years of Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience in top-tier/mid tier technology firms.
  • Relevant post graduate degree (MBA/Masters in an HR discipline), though not a must for the right candidate
  • Exceptional communication skills - written and spoken.
  • Avid Reader, Active Blogger would be a plus.
  • Technical Background or Certified Talent Acquisition Professional will be given preference.
  • Should be systematic and proficient in maintaining MIS & Dashboards.
  • Experience of hiring for APAC region would be a preference
